Prisoners of the DEA

The DEA would like you to believe that they spend all their time going after major thugs and murderers, such as the Medellin Cartel, and their successors, the Cali Cartel.  In fact, the largest number of people are the little people who never were major traffickers and were often people of little or no consequence who made a mistake.  In many cases, these are otherwise ordinary citizens with otherwise ordinary families who received a sentence which was so far out of proportion with the offense they committed that it shocks the conscience.

We have devoted this page to some links where you can meet some of the real victims of the DEA's war against some drugs.
