Carolyn Reinhold, Libertarians for Intact Rights of Children and Adults, addressed the convention on the topic of genital mutilation (commonly known as circumcision). The text of her address is attached to this report.
Randy Herod, Libertarian Party of Iowa Newsletter Editor, addressed the convention on the Tenth Amendment resolution.
Edmund Contoski, Author of Makers and Takers: How Wealth and Progress are Made and How They are Taken Away or Prevented, addressed the convention on the environmental movement.
John Hartog, Libertarian Party of Iowa Executive Committee member, an activist for the Fully Informed Jury Association, addressed the convention on the need for jury instruction reform.
Carl Olsen, Libertarian Party of Iowa Recorder, addressed the convention on the status of medical marijuana in Iowa.
House Joint Resolution 7 - Supports states’ rights under the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
